Covid 19 Update

We appreciate that the situation is changing all the time but here are the key things you need to know if you have booked to travel, wish to travel or are an NHS or Key Worker who requires accommodation:

We have always put guest safety and security first at Best Western Great Britain. That is more important today, more than ever.

We are encouraged by the Prime Minister's statement tonight about hospitality businesses possibly opening from July, but rest assured, we will only open our hotels when it is safe and right to do so.

We won't rush, we will get it right, so you can return and stay with us with confidence. We look forward to that day.

Hotel Closures

Due to the current coronavirus crisis, all our hotels in GB are closed to the general public for the foreseeable future and likely to be until the end of May 2020. There are a few exceptions to this – including NHS and Key Workers. The full list of exceptions is outlined here. We’re constantly reviewing the situation and these dates may change. You are of course welcome to book at stay at one of our brilliant hotels for any time later in the year

Helping NHS & Key Workers

We have been able to offer nearly 15,000 beds to the NHS after 90% of our hotels put themselves forward to help. Many of our hotels have taken on NHS staff and other key workers so they can be closer to their job. Key workers can book rooms at ours hotels via this website here2help@bestwestern.co.uk. Cancellations

Given the current situation, we have encouraged our hotels in GB to exercise flexibility with regards to adherence to booking cancellation policies. However, it is important to note that Best Western GB is a collection of independently owned and operated hotels, and each hotel will be the decision maker in this regards. Any guest wishing to cancel or move a booking should contact the hotel directly.
