Hot Chocolate Fondant Recipe

Executive Head Chef, Justin Woods from the BEST WESTERN PLUS Castle Green Hotel in Kendal has kindly shared his Hot Chocolate Fondant recipe and instructions to bake these delicious Chocolate Fondants:


  • 250g Chocolate
  • 250g Butter
  • 4 Eggs>
  • 4 Yolks
  • 5 tbsp Sugar
  • 125g Plain Flour


  • Melt Butter & Chocolate
  • Whisk Eggs, Yolks & Sugar until Light & Fluffy
  • Combine Chocolate & Eggs
  • Sieve Flour & Fold into Mix
  • Pour into Buttered Moulds
  • Bake at 180 for 8-10 mins
