I spent 5 nts here in to show my son, visiting from Omaha, what N.O. and the French Quarter was all about! Been coming here since the 90's. Usually I stay at the B/W French Quarter Courtyard, or St. Christopher, but got a good price on this one a few months ago and booked it. The staff are FANTASTIC, but this hotel should NOT be a "premier"! My room had leaked (from the rain) and had to be changed-no problem- BUT the paint chips in the bathrooms, curtains need to cleaned and hemmed, couch looked "dirty" (I wouldn't sit on it), extra pillow in closet had a few blood drops (how do you miss that?) and the water takes forever to get hot - and this was an "upgraded" room! A/C unit is very noisy. There's no breakfast (even w/out the virus) unless you eat in the hotel cafe - which IS pretty good, but you have to pay for it! Parking is about $20 a night if you park it yourself a couple of blocks away, or $45 a night for valet. Definitely not worth the price for a "Premier"! St. Christopher, or the Courtyard from now on! less
