My spouse and I were traveling from Florida to Tennessee and wanted a convenient place to stay overnight so that we could visit the Native American mounds in Moundsville, about 20 minutes away from Tuscaloosa. I like Best Western hotels because of the hot breakfast and fast Internet that most BW facilities have. Trip Advisor gave a good rating to this particular Best Western, so we decided to stay. Although the room was on the second floor and this particular facility does not have an elevator, the stairs were manageable. The room was clean, shower and tub worked fine, refrigerator was larger than many at other hotel rooms, and both check-in and check-out were quick.
The hot breakfast was better than I expected, with both bacon and sausage to accompany the scrambled eggs. They also refilled the bacon when it ran out - a rare event in my experience. Lots of other breakfast options for vegetarians, as well. We did not use any other amenities such as the pool or exercise room, so I cannot comment on those features. less
