Very disappointed… I want to point out that most employees were helpful as much as they could be and the point of this review is to give upper management a heads up that the BWP La Verkin standards are unacceptable. Embarrassing for many of their current employees as they seem well aware of the issues with this hotel. First off, don’t stay here if you don’t have to. The most recent good reviews would only be good because they got lucky to have their rooms cleaned properly with all amenities functioning. We spent 3 nights here this past week having made the reservation months ago. We got there late our first night early evening. Upon arrival, our room was not ready, we had to wait for the room to be cleaned. We realized in the lobby there were two other small groups waiting too. Finally, we get to our room, tv doesn’t work. We report this to the front desk. The next day, we return after our long day, early evening, our room was not cleaned and tv still not fixed, and we noticed people sitting waiting for rooms again just as we were the previous night. We alerted the front desk about our room, and they apologized, brought us at least what we needed - in-room coffee and a few towels, we put garbage out in the hall. They said they had it noted about the tv and still waiting on someone to fix it. Again replay on our third night when we came back from our excursions, people waiting for their rooms in the lobby. One group was standing with their luggage upset as they had just got their keys to the room, went to it and said it hadn’t been cleaned at all. We did get lucky as it appeared that someone had at least cleaned the bathroom although nothing else, so we asked for our usual in-room coffee and a few towels, not to mention the maintenance guy happened to be right there and he took care of our TV right away and apologized so at least kids got to watch nighttime TV on our last night. Ice machines didn’t work, vending machines didn’t work and hot tub wasn’t hot. Bottom line, way too much money spent for the lack of services, and cleanliness. Step it up Best Western Plus! less
