It's not as close as some hotels to the stadium, arena and shopping outlet but it's quite a quick, easy walk. There's plenty of shops and restaurants around as the hotel is in the high street, which is handy.
The hotel itself is spotless and the staff delightful. They'll ask you for ID and a £30 deposit when you check in but the deposit is cancelled afterwards when you leave.
We had a twin room with a window which was brightly decorated and although the shower was a bit disappointing, it was really clean. I asked for an iron and it appeared along with a board in under an hour.
Breakfast was good. The chef prepared vegetarian sausages just for me but you need to ask.
All in all a good overnight stay. I'm glad we booked a room with a window though, I wouldn't have fancied being four floors down in the basement. less
