The hotel itself was fine and my room was ok. I was given a room next to one of the conference rooms, which didn’t bother me at first. However the construction/repairs at all hours of the day quickly became a nuisance. On my last night I returned from day long meetings after 6pm, to have loud banging from nearby echoing through my room. It was unbearably loud! I called the front desk at least three times over 60 minutes before the noise level went down. Then, there was no water in my room. Turns out water was leaking into the room below me, so they shut it off. No one bothered to informed me that they needed to do that. In fact, it was only after calling the front desk and waiting well over another 45 minutes, did the manager show up to explain. They couldn’t relocate me, so gave me hot water and a heavy water container which I couldn’t move anywhere by myself. In the morning, there was no hot water in the shower and I needed to shower so I could leave for the airport. Cue several calls and another long wait before I was given a suite to shower in. Interesting how the suite was clean and available for a shower first thing in the morning, but not to relocate me the night before..... As a business traveler, I can’t say that I plan to stay at this hotel in the future. My experience may not have been the norm, but it was enough to deter me from future visits and for me to let my colleagues know about the experience. less
