Problems signalled were NEVER addressed.
AC and odour problems in room 281 were never solved. Most repairmen think customers are idiotic (“Did you turn the AC on?” - when the AC has been at maximum strength for two hours, and the temperature inside the room is around 25 C), and/or lie constantly (« It was fixed, sir »), when the bathroom smells revoltingly of stagnant water (to be polite) and perfume. One person did try to help (Charles), but was ultimately unable to deliver. Two awful nights (there’s were other problems), and we were never offered any compensation, nor an explanation, other than the superficial “I am sorry” already mentioned. Very disappointed, as other Beat Western hotels are far superior. less
