This hotel definitely has its pros and cons.
Pros: Price and location.
The price was pretty good, especially for a king suite (more on that in a minute). And it is very easy to get to on both the highway and downtown historic Frederick.
I will also say that the hotel was clean and was continued to be cleaned every day. The housekeeping kept up with their changing of towels, taking out the garbage, and remaking the bed. I know at a time like this, some people might not like that. I was sort of on the fence, but then again, I appreciated the garbage being taken out and clean towels.
Cons: Was that a king suite? It sure didn't look like the pictures. But it did have the sofa so I guess so?
The bathroom was tiny. The sink is outside of the actual bathroom. But the bathroom is super tiny. It was just a room with a toilet and shower (no tub). The shower doors were hard to balance to stay open, and since the toilet was in the way, you had to get in the shower to turn the shower on, and then hop out if you wanted to let the water warm up.
During this time, the only breakfast option was a grab and go. In it was a breakfast bar, orange, and a water. According to the Best Western website, it was also supposed to have a breakfast pastry.
The front desk staff was friendly. I had no problems at this hotel over all. It was quiet with one exception. Our room looked at the back of the shopping mall behind the hotel, and the dumpster truck woke us up one time. Otherwise, we didn't hear the noise from the streets at all.
I still would consider this hotel again. less
