Not good
Their grab and go breakfast is a water bottle, a piece of fruit, a granola bar, and a pastry. No consideration for diabetics or pre-diabetics having a granola bar and a sugary pasty. This is not a breakfast; it is a snack; why couldn't BW have a combination sausage and cheese on a bun that a person could heat in the room microwave? Why couldn't BW make eggs and meats and serve them in containers? CDC, health departments, and COVID have nothing to do with preparing oatmeal, eggs, or meats that can be put out buffet style; cooks can wear gloves; restaurants, cafes, and diners are now preparing meals and there is no reason
why the hotel cannot do the same thing; people know to distance getting these hot items and can eat in their rooms; COVID is being used as an excuse; the room a/c does not run all the time; the only way to have a cool enough room is to turn the a/c down quite low so that when the room warms up, the a/c starts again; after the room cools, the a/c unit cuts off; no continuous air circulation to maintain a cool feeling. less

Good morning Mr. Gerald,
Believe me, we hear you. You are not the only person that feels this way. But at this moment in time, Best Western has there standard set by them and the CDC. I am not sure about other locations, restaurants and cafes on their safety rules. As for us, we are following the guide lines. If and when we open up any breakfast, we are require to completely hand serve each and every person that walks into the room. We are not allowed to have any guest touch anything. (Coffee cups, forks, plates, food, etc...) If at anytime, someone besides a Best Western employee was to touch something, it would be considered contaminated and would have to be removed. So at this time, we are following the guide lines that Best Western is requiring us to follow. I do understand that others are doing whatever they want to build their business back up. No matter the cost to the customers. We here at Best Western wish to keep you, our customer, all our employees and any further customers safe, happy and healthy. Please understand, we are just as frustrated as you are, but only hope for the best for everyone.
