I arrived in Richmond, VA due to beginning a new Travel RN assignment in the area. I needed to stay until Sunday morning for cheap. I made a reservation for Thursday — Saturday. Reservation came to $170.51 — not bad.
I worked Wednesday night and arrived at the hotel prepared to sit in the lobby until check-in time (3pm). The clerk saw me and asked if I needed anything. I explained my situation in regards to my stay. He then said, "Let me see what I can do for you." He was able to allow me to check-in earlier, by charging me 1/2 of the previous night's rate ($45.32). He saw that I was a Platinum Best Western member and awarded me some bonus points as well.
The check-in was wonderful and I was extremely grateful b|c I had to work that night.
As you can see from the photos, my room was especially nice and accommodating. My stay was uneventful that there were no constant intrusions, yet staff checked on me and made sure my stay was going well.
Check-out process was nice, easy and fast.
My only pet peeve (and this is with ALL hotels) is the check-in |check-out times. Not everyone has the options to check in |out at the standard times. less
