I admit I’m older and not as strong as I once was. So when I checked into the hotel at 10:30 pm I was told that I was on the 2nd floor and they don’t have an elevator. I asked if there were any first floor rooms, she said yes, but were at a higher rate, then I booked. I’m on an extended business trip and have 2 bags, plus my computer bag. All heavy. Not something I wanted to do after a long day at work and flying that evening. I am disappointed that they could not work out a comprise on the room. Of course walking up the stairs I lost my balance and nearly fell, in the process pull my my back and shoulder. I’m not the pack horse I used to be.
I looked on their web site and there’s no mention to no elevator, which I would have most likely booked elsewhere. Can’t afford this injury with all the work I have to do.
When you book this hotel be warned that they do not have an elevator or staff to help. Plus, no compassion to help. It’s not a big deal to a 20’s something desk clerk. Heading to a 5:30 am flight tomorrow morning, can’t wait to navigate the stairs again at 4 am. less

May we apologize again that our front desk clerk did not readily accommodate your request for a downstairs room when you checked in - and at the same price! She appreciated the opportunity to apologize to you personally when you checked out the next morning. Our two-story property does not offer an elevator, however, we do have staff available that are ready to assist with the luggage needs of our guests. We appreciate your candid feedback. Please again accept our sincere apology for the unfortunate experience that you encountered.
