Northern Ireland's largest agricultural show, the Balmoral Show takes place at The King's Hall each year. As well as sections devoted to horses, sheep, cattle, pigs, goats, rabbits and poultry, entertainment includes show jumping, dog ability displays and music.
Music drifts around the showground throughout the event, courtesy of the bandstand, situated in the centre of the site. There are also trade stands for agricultural machinery, a children's farm and a rare breeds display.
The show, which attracts around 70,000 visitors annually, began using the site long before the King's Hall itself was actually built. It now utilises the hall and all its ancillary buildings to house thousands of stands and exhibits during the three-day event.
