The National Museum Cardiff, set in pleasant surroundings in the city centre, is unusual in that it focuses on both art and science. See works by world-renowned artists (particularly the Impressionists), and explore the history and natural history of Wales.
Displays feature everything from ceramics and fossils to Celtic monuments and Bronze Age gold. In addition to a full programme of exhibitions from the collections, the museum also hosts talks, lectures and concerts.
