RAF Leuchars Airshow
Overlooking historic St Andrews golf course and Fife's beautiful coastal scenery, RAF Leuchars Airshow, Scotland's largest, provides a perfect setting for a spectacular seven-hour flying display. Pride of place goes to the RAF's Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
Expect to see the likes of the Spitfire, Hurricane, Lancaster and Dakota. The 2011 show celebrates 100 years of aviation in North East Fife and one of the highlights will be the appearance of the Vulcan.
Each year aircraft from both Royal Air Force and Fleet Air Arm are also joined by aircraft from foreign air forces.
