Swindon Art Gallery

Swindon Art Gallery has a burgeoning reputation as one of the best collections of British contemporary art to be found outside London. The collection was established after a donation of works by local benefactor, H J P Bomford.

Artists in the collection include Steven Pippin, Henry Moore, Graham Sutherland, L S Lowry, Terry Frost, Howard Hodgkin, Gwen and Augustus John, Maggi Hambling, Ivon Hitchens, Christopher Le Brun and Lisa Milroy.
