Womad's commitment to supporting the world's best musicians is reinforced on an annual basis through the wealth of talent they bring to Malmesbury's Charlton Park. Previous years have seen performances from Ethiopia's biggest music act, The Ethiopiques, as well as The Black Arm Band from Australia, Grammy-winning US soul star Solomon Burke and Nigerian act Nneka. Acts performing this year include Bajah & the Dry Eye Crew from Sierra Leone and The Gotipuas, a group of young dancers and acrobats from Orissa in INdia.

As well as the music itself, WOMAD prides itself as a family-friendly festival, with a huge range of entertainment on hand to keep younger visitors occupied and the Children's Parade a particularly popular annual highlight.
