Singin' in the Rain

Johnathan Church's Chichester Festival Theatre stage production of one of the best loved film musicals of all time, Singin' in the Rain, transfers to the West End. Dance superstar Adam Cooper stars as Don Lockwood at the Palace Theatre.

With 2012 marking the 60th anniversary of the film's release, Singin' in the Rain makes it to the West End for the first time (Sadler's Wells and National Theatre productions notwithstanding) and Adam Cooper returns to the role of Don Lockwood, having played it at Sadler's Wells (2004).

Now he is joined by Daniel Crossley (Cosmo Brown), Scarlett Strallen (Kathy Seldon), Katherine Kingsley (Lina Lamont) and Sandra Dickinson (Dora Bailey/Miss Dinsmore) in the changeover from silents to "talkies," where squeaky Lina Lamont loses her grip on both studio and audiences while, potentially, a new star is born.
