Matilda

After sell-out Stratford success, Matthew Warchus' Royal Shakespeare Company production of Dennis Kelly and Tim Minchin's musical Matilda has rocked London at the Cambridge Theatre. Join Roald Dahl's clever Matilda Wormwood in her quest against indolent parents and vindictive headmistress Miss Trunchbull.

Noted playwright Dennis Kelly has adapted Dahl's ever-popular children's classic with Tim Minchin's lyrics and music, showing another side to his talents from his stand-up comedy. It swept the theatrical awards in 2012, after it's première at Stratford's RSC home over Christmas 2010.

In addition to the award-winning children in the cast, the adults are played by Bertie Carvel (Miss Trunchbull; David Leanord from 3 July), Steve Furst (Mr Wormwood), Josie Walker (Mrs Wormwood; Annette McLaughlin from 21 August) and Haley Flaherty (Miss Honey).
