Popstarz

The original London indie gay night, Popstarz has re-launched and re-located to Sin on Charing Cross Road. Expect new DJs in every room, new production and plenty of excitement.

Previously at the Scala in King's Cross, Popstarz changed the face of gay clubbing when it first opened in 1995. A dramatic alternative to the muscles-out, shirts-off traditional house clubs that define the gay scene, it provides a fun, fresh and funky space for young gays and lesbians to wig-out to indie, new rave, rock and trashy pop from the Eighties onwards.

Liberated from the stereotype of gay clubbing, the club is still going strong. You'll still hear indie faves, but there's also retro, bootlegs and electrotrash to get down and dirty to.
