Sit back and unwind with your favourite tipple in our Argyle Bar and Lounge, whether you're meeting up with friends or enjoying a nightcap before bed. We have a wide selection of world wines and as well as malt whiskies that should delight a connoisseur. There are even free wine tastings every evening from 5pm should you wish to sample our chosen white, red and rose offerings. Snacks, light bites and meals are available within the lounge area, where you can also watch live football on TV.

Cancelled with no explanation or compensation

Having booked a long while in advance the hotel cancelled a few weeks before staying. No explanation offered, no real apology and no compensation. Disappointing first experience of Best Western and will go elsewhere next time. Strangely the hotel appears to still be taking books. Very strange. less

I have just called this hotel to enquire about facilities re our stay in July to be advised that our booking is cancelled. We have paid over £400 already. We've had no contact and the person I spoke to couldn't give me a number for reservations, just kept repeating everything I need is online. It certainly isn't. All looks well online and the hotel is still being advertised in the usual places. We are meant to be attending a family wedding and this is now in jeopardy due to this abomination. I'm at a loss as how to contact this outfit to discuss. I see below another victim was cancelled on in April so it's not like there hasn't been time to contact all the booked guests. Absolute horror show. less

Reservation had been canceled by the hotel a few days before I arrived, without any explication and any compensation. I booked for this hotel more than a month before, and it had been very complicated to find an other one with the little time I had. No help from the Glasgow Argyle Hotel staff neither from LGHHM reservation staff. They told they had contact me by phone whereas it was not the case. No telephone number was available for contact. A shame, unacceptable. less
