We (myself, my 5 month old daughter and my husband) stayed for 2 days over the uncertainty with COVID-19. My husband was working in Chester and we had pre-arranged to come for a visit before the break put of coronavirus. Anyway we panicked over what would be available but we shouldn't have been. From the second I set foot outside the Hallmark Queen, staff couldn't have done more for us.
The grand staircase was a challenge for my pram and suitcase so I called to find another entrance (I called the wromg area of the hotel) when 2 staff members came out to help us up the stairs. One of which was the lovely lady I spoke to on the phone and the other wss Chris the receptionist. He was friendly, professional and polite during our whole stay. He was an asset to the company; nothing was too much effort for him and made us aware that we should call down to reception if we needed anything. He made us aware of the one resteraunt that was open (I'm assuming this was due to the virus) when I asked about room service.
Due to the current situation we are currently in, the hotel staff ensured it was clean with hand sanitizer and tissues dotted around in the public domains. They were all friendly and helpful and given the uncertainty of jobs, finances and peoples health it was a pleasure to stay and be looked after at the Hallmark Queen. We have highly recommended you to my husbands colleagues and will be back, hopefully soon 😊 less
