The room was ok, clean, but the "lake view" was obstructed. Balcony was super narrow, the chairs barely fit. Also, the air conditioning unit blew hot air on the unlucky one to have to sit on that side of the tiny balcony. There was only one way in and out, of course, farthest from the beach. We saw many people walking around wondering how to get back into the hotel. Some signage would have been helpful and maybe a guest services folder with hotel information. No room service. No WIFI at all. The grounds were not kept up to a level you would expect. We wanted a romantic fire on the beach where stone fire pits are available. The charge to use one was $200.00!!!! The "beach" right behind the hotel is basically a rocky stretch and a sea wall, not really a beach setting. If you want that you have to walk down to the the crowded small public beach or to the Nature Preserve area off site. The State Park and Preserve was beautiful. I think we would have been better off camping. less
