I stayed for two nights in May 2022, on business, and paid about 200Eur a night, excluding breakfast.
It’s an older hotel, with hardwood, marble, and a very beige/brown colour theme. Feels slightly dated, but the location is amazing. Easy access to the main galleries, Retiro, great nearby restaurants and a 15min walk to Atocha station. Gorgeous view.
All the amenities you’d expect; love a thick bathrobe and chocolates on the pillow:-).
Only complaint is that soundproofing isn’t fab and my upstairs neighbours sounded like a herd of elephants in high-heels when they got in after midnight…. And for that reason, may look elsewhere next time. less
