We definitely love it there. – This time we were staying in a bigger room, overlooking the main street. – The room was beautifully furnished with classical white furniture, creating a homogenous whole both with the other rooms as well as with the rest of the hotel. The beautiful wallpaper made the room unique, and so did the meticulously chosen chandelier and mirror.
In addition to the standard tv set, minibar, hairdryer and the tea/caffee making facilities, there was an iron and an ironing board in the room, as well as a pair of bath robes and slippers.
No air condition paid off. – One could easily open the beautiful windows and stare into the street, observing the white nights, and with the little yet fierce fan one could freely enjoy the flowing air.
The bathroom was very nice, too. – Succesfully marrying tradition and Scandinavian style. Sadly, there was a problem with the flow of water in the shower. However, once you`ve known all about it, you knew where to stand to make the bathroom the least wet possible, and – what to use the big window sweeper for.
Breakfasts were wonderful, with lots of delicious fruit, cereal, yoghurts, cheese, bread, etc. and a Midsummer strawberry cake. – One could not be led into a new day in a better way!
The members of staff were very helpful and they went to any lengths to help us with the missing luggage. – No problems with check – in or out procedures.
There`s a nice bar and a restaurant in the hotel. less
