We stayed for 4 nights in Room 1, an apartment. It definitely doesn't look like the apartment advertised online but hey, we will go with. Was a little disappointed with a few things that I'm sure the hotel could fix. 1. The oven in our room had no handle on the door so would be considered dangerous to use however, it also contained no grill shelves or trays so I couldn't have used it if I wanted to. This would be an issue if maybe people had young children or dietary needs and they wanted to cook themselves or were just keeping to a budget. 2. The microwave door looked like someone had punched it. Again no biggie but doesn't look good. 3. The window only opened slightly and only one opened. We asked for the key to the other two windows but were refused on the basis of security. Surely if one window can open then two can??? It was extremely hot in the room and we had to put a shoe in the main door to try and get some more air. 4. I think they were having a problem with the drains, as the shower wouldn't drain away which was a bit concerning once the water got near the shower door. 5. Lastly, I think breakfast service should be reviewed. Time is 7-9am however, if you have been out the night previous it's a struggle to get up for this. However McDonald's is a hop and skip away.
Other than the above it was a good base for us. With a bit of effort this could be a lovely place. Special mention to Sue who goes above and beyond should you need anything, she is a credit to the hotel. less
