I stayed at this small (61 rooms on 7 floors) hotel in early January on a trip through Bulgaria. I arrived on a bus at the Central Bus Station next to the main train station and simply walked, with my suitcase, about 25 minutes to the hotel which is really not that easy to find so I'd definitely have GPS on my phone or print out a map of the area with relevant landmarks. I found out later that the hotel also offered a free train or bus station pickup service that I should have used. They also have a 10 Euro per person shuttle available to or from the airport.
I enjoyed my stay at this reasonably priced hotel. It was in a quiet residential location that made it easy to walk to all the tourist sites and included a very simple buffet breakfast (7:30 am - 10:00 am), had Wi-Fi with 2 PCs to check e-mails and was nice and quiet. In the room were black out curtains, double paned windows, a futon instead of my preferred sheets and blanket, a refrigerator with sodas and alcohol, a tea kettle and safe. In the bathroom was a tub, soap, shampoo, hair dryer and magnifying mirror. The employees all were very nice, knowledgeable and spoke excellent English.
The television included, in English; HBO 1, HBO 2, HBO 3, Cinemax 1, Cinemax 2, Nat Geo and the Discovery Channel.
This was a nice, small hotel in central Sofia. I enjoyed my 4 night stay and would recommend this if looking for a place near the tourist sites and bus and train stations. less
