Hotel is easy to find, fortunately there was one parking space left so that was alright. Reception was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and functional. Not the biggest, but I only booked for a single so was not expecting a penthouse. One of the best features of the hotel is its accessibility to the town centre. I didn't want to drive as I wanted a drink with my meal and I would certainly not walk as it is too far, however, there is a bus stop right outside and the service is frequent and reliable. Breakfast was fine with loads of choice and a constant rotation of the cooked food. The big drawback was the heat of the room. It was like a sauna. It was possible to open a window but it led out onto an accessible flat roof so that was not a great idea. Fortunately, the room had a fan in the cupboard and I left that on all night otherwise it would have been unbearable. less

Thank you for your feedback. Which we take very seriously and find very useful so that we can improve our service. We have called in a heating expert since we have been looking into implementing intelligent boiler management systems at the hotel and hopefully that should fix the problem. Also all the bedrooms radiatiors are fitted with thermostatic valves so you can quite easily turn off the heating in the room. However I do accept that it can be too warm and we will be addressing this immediately.
