Very disappointing on many levels

First, arriving to check in at around 4.30pm the desk clerk, Kyle, had gone walk about. Sure he had left the sign instructing you to call him - but since he also left the phone on the desk it was a pretty pointless exercise. After 15 minutes he returned, no apology until it was pointed out what he had done.
Second, both vending machines for soda and water were simultaneously out of service. The coffee machine in the room worked but the chlorinated water made what was brewed undrinkable.
Third, arriving for breakfast at 8.58am and asking Shiela for a plate we were told ‘Breakfast is finished.’ Before 9 o’clock on a Sunday morning?
Well it was only 90-something degrees, we weren’t that thirsty despite being in a place which made it impossible to drink for 12 hours.
We have traveled all over the US and always found the service in hotels and restaurants to be impeccable, so we will just put this one down as an off day- but won’t use this hotel again. less

I want to apologize for the vending machines. We do not handle the soda machines. They are the responsibility of Coke and Pepsi company. I thank you for leaving a review. I am sorry about breakfast as well. I hope you do give us another try in the future.
