I am a huge BW fan and often stay at their hotels, as they usdually have a good standard. During my South America trip this was the only BW hotel I stayed at. When I booked I could only choose from the apartment complex and not the hotel, unfortunately. I believe that my review would turn out differently if I had had a room at the hotel (the other place is a block away). One can use all the amenities though. The room was really big, but the stone floor gave it a rather cold feel. And it was quite dark, set amongst lots of trees did not let a lot of light in. I actually had another night booked there upon my return to Bariloche, but cancelled it, as I wanted tob e closer to downtown. One needs a car to get into town. There is hoewever a small restaurant at the main bulding. The food was OK. less

Thank you so much for your comments.
Is very important to us to know your opinions.
Villa Sofia Resort & Spa has two properties, the principal with the hotel and the aparts and the annexed cabins called Best Western. When you reserved through Best Western you can only choose this cabins.
The resort is located at 7 blocks from the center of Bariloche, you can get there walking because the path is way down and come back in a taxi.
