Preferred by many of our longstanding residential corporate clients, the Wedgewood suite is ideally located on the first floor of the Old Hall, based within the oldest part of the main hotel building and enjoying easy access to all facilities on offer, from our 91 bedrooms to the bar, reception and restaurant areas. Boasting an area of 750/69.5(ft/mtrs), this space would be perfect for meetings and functions for up to 75 guests and its modern and plush interior offers a quiet, welcoming and comfortable environment perfect for civil ceremonies, but is equally well equipped to meet the modern day demands of various types of meetings and conferences. Having recently undergone a complete refurbishment in keeping with all other areas of the Old Hall and enjoying the benefits of natural daylight and air-conditioning, the Wedgewood Suite remains a favourite area of the hotel with new and returning guests alike.

Queens

The Royal Suite is one of our largest ground floor function spaces with an area of 1651/152(ft/mtrs). It is also one of our most versatile, having an optional partition wall that can be used to create two separate suites for more intimate gatherings. The adjoining Princes Bar can be accessed via an exclusive entrance giving your event the added benefit of being contained within a private wing of the hotel. Its plush carpet, lighting and furnishings will give your event a sense of grandeur and the included facilities such as a complete inbuilt audio visual system, the optional use of a dance floor, and the ceiling mounted LCD projector and electrical retractable screen means that the Suite is fully equipped for an array of varying conferences and private events. For personal comfort, the Royal Suite benefits from natural daylight and air conditioning.

Oak

The Garden Suite is the largest of all of our suites and its high ceilings and light wooden floors give an incredible sense of space. The Garden suite is accessed via a conservatory entrance hall and enjoys the light and airy views over the hotel's private courtyard garden. With an area of 2836/265.86 (ft/mtrs), this ground floor space is preferred by our large corporate clients and large scale banqueting events such as high school proms and weddings. The suite can also be described as offering the added benefit of privacy with a feel of exclusivity as the Garden Suite is quintessentially within its own private wing of the hotel where guests can enjoy their own private bar, entrance and toilet facilities in a area that is kept completely separate from the rest of the hotel. The space has a contempory feel with statement lighting and for comfort can again offer natural daylight and air conditioning. The suite however remains aesthetically neutral and with the added features of a complete inbuilt audio visual system and space for conference equipment can lend itself well to many large scale corporate and private events.
