We stayed two nights in this hotel as part of our tour - spending two days visiting Iguazu Falls. Although a little small it was quite adequate. The safe in the room was locked when we arrived and it took quite awhile, and a reminder from our tour leader, for it to be opened. We were staying in the older section of the hotel - not sure if the newer, taller section was any better. Dining room was quite large but the food selection was not as extensive as we would have anticipated. When we went to breakfast on the first day we put the "Do not disturb" sign on our door. We returned a little later from breakfast, grabbed our gear for the day and, as we left the room, I flipped the sign over. On returning, we discovered that the sign had "Do not disturb" on both sides, not with "Please make up the room" as we had expected - as a result, room was not made up. Our fault, but is the only time we have experienced this. Also, having a kettle in the room with no tea/coffee, cups etc seemed rather pointless, and only succeeded in getting our hopes up. less
