A week before thanksgiving we called the hotel to book a room to stay in town for Thanksgiving. We booked Wednesday and Thursday night. They gave us a price and my husband asked for a military discount. They said they they would give us the discount when we go there. We got into town and went to visit our family first. My husband called the hotel to let them know we would be in later. They said they didn't have our reservation. The original lady got on the phone that my husband booked with and she said she found our reservation. We got to the hotel and they said the military discount was the same rate as the regular rate already told us. So whatever, that was fine.
We got into the room and everything was clean. No smells and the heater worked fine. I sent my child to shower right away and we noticed that there were only 2 wash clothes, hand towels and towels for the four of us. My husband went back to the front desk to ask for more towels but we had to wait a while before someone could unlock the towel closet.
Then I was in the bathroom and looked at the toilet paper and it was down to the last ten squares. So I looked around more more toilet paper in the room and there was none and the facial tissues were out also. My husband went back to the front desk and got toilet paper and tissues.
The beds were fine. The breakfast was fine - eggs, sausage, biscuits, waffles and then the other contintental items. We left to visit family for thanksgiving day and received a call a few minutes before 11 telling us to get our stuff out of our room. My husband said but we have the room for two days. They said they would let us book a room with a king size bed and roll away bed for fifty more dollars. Eventually they said they would give us a ten percent discount on that room.
The original lady called back later and said that we could get a different king room with a jacquzzi for forty percent off but it was still more than we were originally going to pay. You could tell she felt bad but the girl who worked the desk the morning didn't care at all and was not willing to work it out for us. So it's thanksgiving night and my family will be sleeping on the floor. Hopefully we will be well rested for our drive home tomorrow. less

Mr & Mrs Neiss:
We truly apologize for the inconvenience. I will try to address few things here.
For Military discount, State of NC per diem rate is $91.35 and our room rate is below that so our rate is already considered discounted.
We did offer roll away bed at no cost. Our rate with roll away bed is $10 extra per day and not $50 extra. Our rates for double bed and king bed are the same.
After Sissy called and spoke with you, we did go ahead and gave you 1500 bonus Best Western reward points for the inconvenience.
We emailed the confirmation for the same at the address we have on file.
If you have not received the confirmation email, kindly email us back at bestwesterntarboro@Hotmail.com
Thank you and look forward to serving you,
