We had two adjoining rooms on the 2nd floor. Both had 2 beds, but one had a king and a double and was considerably larger, which was nice. It had newer carpet and bedding, but dated furniture. The desk chairs are uncomfortable, and are ripped, needing to be replaced. The pillows were horrible - too big and overstuffed. The larger room seemed to be updated a little more as it had a newer a/c unit. The one in the smaller room was old and extremely loud.
The toilet/tub room is very small as the door barely clears the toilet, which was a bit of a challenge.
This is an old style hotel with windows along the walkways and parking lot, so it can be a little noise. The good news is they seem to have a strict noise/partying policy and we didn't have any problems.
The pool area is in the middle of the parking lot. The pool and area are small, but very clean and equipped with lots of chairs.
As for the breakfast, it was not very good. Typical stale bagels, muffins, yogurt cups, juice and coffee and cereal. Some kind of oatmeal maker and pancake maker. They also had eggs, a potato, and sausage, all of which was very salty. The area is very small with only a few tables. If it is crowded, plan on eating outside or taking it back to the room.
Would we stay here again? Yes for the price and for the location we needed it to be. It was clean and the staff friendly. It's about a 5 minute drive straight down to the beach where you can park in the lot for $15.00 per day or on the street with meter parking. Super easy, if you go early. less
