I had previously stayed in a Premier Inn last time I was in Aberdeen (for work) and as it was an awful experience decided to book into this hotel as still close to the place I was visiting for my work. The surroundings are not great but the minute I opened the door a girl at reception (wish I knew her name) she was up out her seat and welcoming me. She was so friendly. I had spoken with her the night before as concerned I was going to have a disturbed nights sleep as there was a function booked but she assured me I was out of the way of noise.
My room was small but perfect! It was so clean. I was so surprised at the goody bag that is there - its filled with crisps, chocolate and all sorts of lovely treats! There was a fridge that also had chocolates - orange juice, apple juice and bottles of water. There was also milk and a sign saying if I wanted fresh milk just to let reception know and they would bring it up. The room was full of items to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
The bathroom had toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, shower gel, mouthwash, cotton buds, nail files.............loads more! Even had a bathrobe and plenty of BIG towels.
The bed was very comfortable and clean. I couldnt fault anything at all.
Breakfast was amazing! There were 2 ladies working the breakfast room and they were great - they were so well organised and you could tell they work very well together. The breakfast was a buffet but I was asked if I wanted fresh eggs made and how I would like them. There was everything you could think of for breakfast and I enjoyed it very much!
This place is such amazing value for money and I wouldnt even consider booking with any other hotel now when working up in Aberdeen. less
