The Restarurant was closed!

I arrived at the hotel late afternoon, to be told that the restaurant was closed! I asked why? They said it's not open all the time, and it depends on how many guests they have in the hotel. Furthermore my tiny room was facing the street, with sirens blasting away through the night from police and ambulances! So much for the double glazing.
And yet when I booked this hotel, it boosted about the wonderful Manhattan Restaurant, I was looking forward to dine here. Even in the room, it had the opening times of this restaurant. There was no apology from the lady who checked me in, just a long look. I also went on to say that I'm leaving at 07:00 the following day, the receptionist just said " Breakfast is not open until 07:00" again no apologies just a long look. The bell boy was polite and escorted me to my room. The room was very small, and fridge was dripping inside.
The following morning when I went down around 06:40, to check out, a very nice member of staff Raluca Graure greeted me. I expressed my anger about the restaurant being closed and no breakfast. Raluca was very quick and made a call to the kitchen to make some sandwiches and offered me coffee before my taxi arrived. And more to the point apologized to me. It's a shame the person the previous wasn't so polite, and didn't think to ask me if I'd like a take away breakfast etc.
I'm very disappointed at this hotel, very mis leading with the restaurant! less

I was actually waiting for your reply after our email conversations, in which you advised that you will also write on Tripadvisor.
At the moment of your stay, our on-site Restaurant was, indeed, open only for breakfast and lunch and I’m sorry to hear that this ruined your stay.
Luckily for the majority of our guests, there are more than 5 restaurants to choose from, all within 1 to 3 minutes walking distance from our hotel (that also deliver).
Thank you for recognizing Raluca’s efforts to provide breakfast out of official working hours. Take care!
