Flying my private plane north from FLL and due to adverse weather condition made a landing at Keystone Hts Airport, while in flight my co-pilot contacted hotel and made reservations.
Land at airport and at six pm there were no Uber or Taxi service. Called hotel asking for service and I was willing to pay a premium for them to help. Receptionist told me not her problem and went on to tell me she works 2 days and it's up to her management Mr. Patel. I asked for him to contact me and gave my cell number, waited at the airport stranded and never received a call, followed up twice with receptionist and she told me Mr. Patel will call if he decides. Well after an hour we decided to fly to Gainesville Airport and book another hotel where they were gracious to provide pick-up at the Fixed Base Operator (FBO). The lack of a return call tells me a lot about management and a business. If the owner called and told me that they can't do it, then i am ok, but to leave me hanging for an hour expecting a call is extremely poor. I was also told that they will not give me a refund , however my trips are protected and have other avenues. Good luck sustaining your business for future, you have lost a regular flyer and co-pilot and my family from ever staying here in future. less
