A poor quality sprung mattress was needing replacement or had been heavily used, either way my suggestion is to check all mattresses more regularly.
The heating was below par, the radiators didint work, maybe they just needed bleeding but this issue shouldn't have to be pointed out to reception staff as I firmly believe maintenance supervisor should be responsible to check all rooms before and after occupancy or concur with house-keeping but it should not fall upon guests to make staff aware of faults.
This is a basic necessity therefore onus falls to management to maintain standards.
House-keeping well they stayed away from the room in line with Covid 19, this was fine and understandable.
The bar and restaurant closed for walk-in so unable to give rating for this.

The cold breakfast bag was not ideal and poor value especially when you consider a considerable amount of hoteliers currently open in this pandemic offer hot takeaway breakfast so why not here.
On occassions had to speak to the receptionist on the telephone reception as minimal staffing on duty meant reception unstaffed during evening on occassions.
One occassion I left my room key in room by mistake, the receptionist on duty just gave me replacement key, never asked my name, she hadn't even seen me before, so was slightly alarmed by this as it lacked any tougher and stricter security measures when it came to replacing door keys.
In general an average stay as the staff that were on duty did the best they could do during circumstances. less
