I had the misfortune of having an erratic, scary guest being assigned the room across from me. He was obviously fighting with someone else in his room, trying to use a bar to break into his room, and when I called the front desk to report the issue, got the impression they were not concerned. The guest continued with erratic behavior, pacing the halls, laying on the floor, acting like he was on the influence of something, and my partner and I were concerned he would attempt to break into other rooms on the floor. Finally, around 5 AM, (we had called around 9 PM), the hotel removed him from that room, only to place him in another. In addition to that experience, I had another male guest yell at me the following morning as I was in the parking lot getting into my vehicle. He asked me why I didn't let him know he had left his lights on in his vehicle and kept repeating that over and over. I ignored him, but felt uncomfortable by yet another guest. I was considering leaving the hotel, but ended up sticking it through the final night.
In addition to the creepy guests I encountered, I felt extremely disappointed in the staff. When requesting items like an ice bucket, or shampoo, one had to repeatedly ask, and in the case of the shampoo, wait over one day and ask again before finally receiving some. In the morning, I had gone to get coffee in the front lobby, and one staff member looked annoyed that I was asking for a second cup for my room partner. Another day, a different female staff member was playing with her dog in the office behind the front desk within my view, but back to the desk ignoring me and two other guests patiently waiting. She played with her dog and fiddled with a fan for about five minutes before finally realizing she had people waiting. When trying to ask another female employee at the restaurant to charge my food to my room, as I have done every time I have stayed here, she said it was inconvenient for her and that she wanted me to charge it to a card right then. I had to tell her that no, I wanted it charged to the room please, then she proceeded to act annoyed and said it would then take longer. Super weird staff, I have never experienced such inability to do ones job. I know there are new owners now compared to when I started staying here three years ago, and maybe this poor customer service and strange/unsafe new type of guests I'm seeing are a result. I never want to stay here again. Please be aware for your safety if you stay here. less
