We arrived late in evening, and our check-in attendant wore a mask but seemed sick (stuffy nose and cough) which really set us off on the wrong foot, with pandemic fears already weighing heavily on our minds prior to the journey. We then noticed on the way from parking lot to room, there were pet type stains on the sidewalk, and as we entered the building, the same urine and picked up dog-doo markings in the stairwell, with accompanying smell. Further alarming us with regards to cleanliness. Inside the room, we had brought our own Clorox Wipes, so we went through the room and wiped down everything. We were glad we did, as there were many commonly touched areas that were dirty. We expected to be re-cleaning, but we felt like we were going over many areas for the first time. Shocking, during pandemic, with all the "guidelines" BW is following, to find such dirty conditions. Other than that, the hotel was nice. So once we got over the initial check in and cleaning hurdles, we enjoyed our stay and the room was comfortable with nice beds and pillows. less
