Absolutely beautiful grounds but needs leadership for operations!

A gorgeous property full of lush vegetation in scattered buildings and great pool area. Other than that, a very typical hotel from the business side. Room was nice and comfy but several little annoying things like the bedside light would not work so I stumbled around and slammed into a chair leg during the lights-out move from desk to bed. At check out the desk clerk said there might be a wall switch that controls it but not sure! Would have been a nice information talk as I checked in and saved me two days in the dark. Couldn't provide bottled water (told in the community due to high agricultural area the water from the tap is not safe), which I explained, so they sent me to a vending machine for safe water, and standing in the pouring rain found out it was broken so ventured out to another building until I finally found one. Young staff at the restaurant never acknowledged me when I came for dinner, just talked among themselves until I finally just went on in and found a waitress who apologized and got me settled (restaurant was very nice but really crowed at night). Little annoying things (although didn't seem like it at the time), easily solved if only management would respond which they did not.
My recommendation would be to take the manager who takes care of the grounds and make that person the General Manager of the hotel which would transform the place overnight!
Unfortunately I would not stay here again, too much frustration. less
