Best Western Sea Island Inn, Beaufort, SC is an excellent hotel. I highly recommend it. From the moment you see the beautiful brick building, wrought iron fencing, and honeysuckle crawling up the sides you feel good about your choice of hotel. But, it only gets better once you see the room. Very clean and the bedding is all white which means you'd be able to see any stains, etc. The bedding was immaculately clean as well. The bed itself was very comfortable and the comforter and pillows were top grade - ones I"d have at my house. The hotel staff was very friendly and any questions we had were answered right away, coffee ready to go early in the morning, in-room coffee pot and coffee, ironing board, and hair dryer! The hotel was quiet at night. We were there for my son's graduation from MCRD and a lot of other visitors were too but it was quiet by 9pm. Within a couple of blocks are shops with art, food, ice cream (excellent ice cream, by the way). Within 6 minutes you can be at Dockside (excellent sea food). You can be at MCRD Parris Island withing 20 minutes (and it's just a couple of turns and you're there - not hard at all). I will stay at this hotel anytime I am in the Beaufort, SC area. less
