We are heading home, and my wife hadn’t been to beautiful Savannah. So, we booked two nights in Savannah at Best Western. Now, I and we have stayed at many Best Westerns, but this is past its Best Before date. Felt damp in our room, phone didn’t work, and they promised someone would look after it the next day, but tat didn’t happen. The property is old and rooms need a good revamp. Beds were comfortable, however.
Included breakfast was passable, but the tip jar left for guests was the first time I’ve seen that at any hotel, and the least deserving. Milk container was empty, and my wife had to ask for refill, which they did, syrup was out and I needed to ask for that to be refilled, which they did. The lady that was wiping down the tables, used the same cloth to wipe out the waffle iron.
There are many other hotels in the area, so perhaps a second look at them would be advisable.
From the outside it looks good, but it’s still a pig. less
