After spending 12 different stays at this hotel over the last year, I’m done. And done with Best Western due to their terrible corporate customer service. I had a mid May stay for two nights and due to work purposes, had to have two one night reservations. I called while enroute to check in two hours early and I was told to drop by. Drove 30 min out of my way and then told room was not ready. When finally could check in, I asked for a room that I could stay in for both nights without moving and was told that could be arranged in the morning. The next morning I was told no such rooms were now available. Idiots. Counter staff is rude at best, one lied to the customer service folks while I was standing there, the site manager is of no help, nor is customer service. I asked for nothing except that they treated a customer shabbily and they refused to do that. I’m a Best Western Rewards Diamond level customer and all their PR stuff is crap. They could give a hoot about a customer, first time or repeat. I have stayed in Best Western Hotels 24 times in the past year and am done. If you want a good hotel in Sacramento with competent and pleasant staff, try the Holiday Inn Express. After two visits its now my go to place.
Best Western would be smart to take their name off this establishment until there is a new GM and staff there. I have a letter in to corporate but so far no responsible response from them. I’m far from surprised to read other poor reviews of this place. less
