We stayed just one night at the BW Rochester Marketplace Inn and that was good enough for me.
The pros--the staff were very friendly and the rooms were (mostly updated). It's in a good location, just a few minutes off I-90, but in an area with a lot of restaurants and shopping. Breakfast was good (although crazy crowded)--it included eggs, bacon, waffle maker, bagels, muffins, cereal and fruit.
The cons--the rooms were only mostly updated...my bathroom had peeling wallpaper and the fixtures were rusty. I didn't love that. Also, it was very, very noisy. We had some sort of sports teams staying in the hotel and they were running through the hallways and loud in the rooms around me until very late. and then the fire alarm went off early in the morning. Needless to say, we didn't get a lot of sleep and were actually on the road two hours earlier than planned. less
