Staff not helpful, didnt seem to care. Breakfast seriously lavking, no milk for cereal, coffee was terrible, no phone service . Disappointed in staff, poor service, didnt seem to like their jobs, and did nothing to make you feel welcome less

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. I am very sorry to hear that our breakfast failed to meet your standards, but even more importantly I am very disappointed that our staff left such a negative impression with you. As you can see from almost all reviews on Trip Advisor and other social media platforms: not only was yours not the typical experience at Best Western Roanoke, but our staff are one of the most complimented aspects of our property.
Your concerns with our employees were also very surprising because not only am I the individual who checked you in, but I was also working the front desk when you checked out, and as the Office Manager of our hotel I work very hard and take pride in ensuring all my guests receive a warm greeting and the best possible service during their time with us. If I failed in any way to provide you with the best possible service I would like to extend my sincerest apologies.
While we regret not exceeding your expectations during your recent stay with us, we value your feedback, and I would like to speak with you personally over the phone to better understand where we may improve our service for you and future guests.
