This was my first time staying at a Best Western in many years but it will probably be my last, if I can help it. The guest rooms in this hotel were so run down and are in dire need of an update (see photos). The clerks were very friendly to us at check-in. Our electronic keys did not work in the door and we were given ONE metal key on a lanyard. The deadbolt was loose enough to push back and forth in the hole. My husband used his multi-tool ti tighten it up himself. It was snowing hard outside, so we decided to grab dinner in the hotel restaurant rather than trying to find a place to drive to. As soon as we turned down the hall to the restaurant, the desk clerk hollered that the restaurant was closed for remodeling. Because of several rooms having to use metal keys and deadbolts, the access doors were left unlocked. The batteries were dead in our remote. The phone didn't have a dial tone to call the front desk. The mattresses were hard and lumpy and it was hard to sleep because of it. The shower drain just lifted right out of the tub and the tub floor gave a little while I was showering. The safety bar in the shower was loose. The indoor pool area of this hotel was stunning. I'll give them credit on that, and the free breakfast buffet was one of the best I've seen. The food selection was EXCELLENT and the worker kept the items filled. Vending machine took my money and didn't vend. We had other issues, too, which there isn't enough room here to describe. less

We apologize for the deficiencies of your room. We are beginning renovations on the guest rooms this year and hope you'll consider staying with us again once our renovations are complete. I am glad that your enjoyed our pool, breakfast and staff. Thank you for complimenting the hard work we have done to improve those areas. Once the rooms are totally renovated we look forward to your next stay with us at the Regency Inn.
