Have stayed here a number of times in the last seven years visiting family in area. It's two stories but no elevator. Arrived late and was put on second floor. The hallway smelled old, musty, and just disgusting with torn and worn carpet and wallpaper. Went down and asked for first floor room. The hallway on first was better. but low ceiling which felt closed in. Various panels in ceiling were dislocated and discolored. The room was clean with mini fridge/microwave. Our fridge didn't cool well so maintenance brought a new one very quickly. The staff are friendly but was strange in the morning when going through the buffet, (standard fare, eggs, pancakes, bacon) the one attendant would stand and watch what you took to a point of being uncomfortable, as you were taking three pieces of bacon instead of two. There was a tip jar at the end of the line. I have never seen a tip jar for a little breakfast buffet, unless they had an omelet station which is fine. The whole thing was just uncomfortable and awkward. The room was not professional done as the photos show. trim in bathroom not fitted well, wallpaper ripped and not matched up, Shower wall connected to tub with wood moldings??? Get a carpenter, paper hanger, etc. to do your repairs and renovations. Going cheap makes it look like crap. As a loyal BW diamond member, this is one motel I won't be going back to. It is definitely not a BW plus hotel. On the plus side, the bar served a good cocktail at good price with friendly staff. But it is small. less

I apologize for your inconveniences. Please be advised we are a Best Western Hotel, not a plus. As previously reported we do have an elevator, but it is not convenient for our guests. We do however, offer assistance with luggage to the second level. The hallway carpet is being replaced in the near future. It has been approved by Best Western. We shall speak with our attendants about overlooking the breakfast in a more friendly and comfortable way and of course removing the tip jar. We are currently making repairs in a positive way. Thank you for your comments for our friendly staff.
