This Best Western is a poor representation of the Best Western corporation. The management clearly does not require customer service from their employees. Although they proudly display the Best Western rewards program in their lobby they refused to honor a $25 travel card issued to me as a B/W rewards gold member. These reward cards are to be honored by any and all Best Western branded hotels, but they refused and not very friendly about it. I even had the B/W customer service people call them about the problem and they too were told NO. The swimming pool is habitually out of order, my guess is the management does not want to spend money to repair it. The staff are slow to respond to any facility repair issues. The only highlight to the stay was the morning breakfast personnel and the rest of the management and employees, including owners, could learn something from them. Otherwise, this hotel could be a prime property for Best Western if under new and capable management. less
