Long term stay and great find.
I stayed at the Queens from January 2020 - to March 2020 and would return to the hotel in a heartbeat. The food was good, and the staff friendly.
The rooms are furnished to traditional Scottish three star hotel standards, decent size, my bed was comfortable, the room warm with decent TV and great Wi-Fi.. Yes, there was the odd squeaky floorboard - but then my own home has the same issue too.
This was my home away from home during what was no a great winter - it's within easy reach of the railway station and bus station. Ditto the city centre is an easy ten minute walk - or less than five minutes (and £4:00) in a taxi.
Breakfast was massive - Continental - Cooked or combination of both was available.
In room Tea and Coffee was plentiful - ditto the shortbread was great and there is a small gym on the premises, with a car park less than two minutes walk from the front door.. There is also a premium Breakfast menu available. But for my tastes, the standard menu was more than adequate,
I suppose all reviews need one negative and my negative is that the building is not the most attractive in the city - but during a freezing cold Scottish winter it wasn't something I dwelt upon unduly, as I shot through the front door of the hotel to a warm Highland welcome.
Highly recommended; in summation: good rooms; great staff and all at a fair price. If you need a room in Perth, the Queens is a great choice.
And for the sake of transparency, I have no connection with the hotel other than as a paying guest.
