We arrived at this hotel which was a small French castle. The reception staff are very efficient and welcoming and our room was on the second floor via either stairs or lift.
Bedding and towels excellent and the room was superbly clean.. We had travelled here from Versailles and I have to say the hotel is rather out of the way and was difficult to find.
In regards to eating they offer dinner and breakfast, however, the menu is very limited and does not change from day to day, in view of this and as they did not offer anything to our taste we chose to eat in Le Mans. There is nowhere nearby that we could find.
The hotel offer a range of wines and beverages and we chose a bottle at 31 euros on return from eating which was extremely good. Although we had drinks on the veranda one afternoon, which I paid for, the person who served me still added it to our room bill, which I thought was poor so do check your bill items.
In addition on booking we advised we were travelling with our two toy poodles, and, whilst most hotels charge a nominal fee for each pet I thought that 40 euros per night, which was not advised at the time of booking, was overly expensive and unreasonable and as we stayed two nights it cost us 80 euros. I am upset and angry about this as although I realise that most hotels would spray the room after a dog has occupied it there is NO WAY it the product used would cost that much.
