Stayed here for a weekend getaway January 27th to 29th. The reception by the evening staff was perfect - complete with freshly baked cookies. Our queen plus jacuzzi room was comfortable for two people and included a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, plenty fresh towels and a comfortable bed. The decor was fresh and the overall cleanliness was fantastic. The television is large and offered a variety of channels for those looking for complete relaxation and wanting to make full use of their room.
Being on the first floor, we were right next to the pool and fitness room. The pool was a bit cool at first but definitely a good size for a recreational swim. We didn't use the fitness room but the equipment appeared to be fairly new and sufficient for those looking to sneak in a work out or two.
The breakfast option was a nice addition to this hotel stay, and included a nice variety of options, with different mains offered each day we were there. If you have food restrictions or allergies, walk with your items (I did) so you can ensure something satisfactory. However, they did provide fresh fruit, yogurt, oatmeal with toppings, bacon, eggs, potatoes, cereal, bread, pastries and a waffle machine. There is also a coffee machine for lattes, cappuccinos and hot chocolate and a variety of tea.
Free parking and proximity to town topped off a great weekend! My only two qualms: the jet in the hot tub went off sporadically a couple of times (very loud) as I think there may have been a timer that we did not know about and the heater seemed to blow cold air for a while before actually heating up. Nevertheless, we would definitely stay here again as clean and comfortable hotels at an affordable rate are rare. less
